A couple serving a sentence for the rape of two teenage sisters in 2020 have filed an appeal.
The couple is jailed for 17 years imprisonment with a non-parole period of 14 years for rape and defilement of young persons between 13 and 16 years of age.
The first offender was a prominent and active member of a mosque and the community and his wife assisted in committing the crimes.
