Valentine’s Day became more meaningful for four couples on Gau Island when they tied the knot on their island home.

The weddings were all made possible, thanks to the Rights, Empowerment and Cohesion (REACH) project.

REACH is on a mission to bridge the gap of various services that those in the mainland enjoy, and in this trip took 20 services to the village on Tuesday.

Amelia, 23, and Sairusi Naivalulevu, 24, waited the entire day to agree to a lifetime commitment, with their son on Mrs Naivalulevu’s hip.
