Court An Option: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has hinted that there is another possible way of amending the 2013 Consti­tution.

Speaking during an interview at the Foreign Af­fairs Building in Suva, Mr Rabuka said there was a standing court judgment that says the 1997 Con­stitution was not properly abrogated.

“There is another way, a possible way, and that is through the legal system,” Mr Rabuka said.
