Uncle Convicted For Raping His Nephew
The victim who is a special school student was allegedly raped at the age of 10 by his uncle.

A 29-year-old uncle who was charged for rape of his nephew has been found guilty by the Suva High Court yesterday.
He was convicted for three counts of rape.
The man had raped is 14-year-old nephew on three separate occasions between January 1, 2014 and April 17, 2014, in Colo-i-Suva.

The state prosecution was represented by Mehzabeen Khan while the accused was represented by lawyers Lisiate Qetaki and Lavenia David from the Legal Aid Commission.
The matter is adjourned for sentencing hearing and mitigation today.
