Precautionary measures announced by Line Ministers during the press conference by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama at the Suvavou House in Suva yesterday.
Premila Kumar - Minister for Industry, Trade, Tourism, Housing and Community Development
- Municipal councils to set up decentralised markets in towns and cities in order to avoid overcrowding
- UN Park in Suva to open for vendors to sell produce
- Markets to only open between 8am to 7pm
- Contracted taxis to pick and drop employees with ID and a letter from the company can operate during curfew
- People who work shifts must carry letters given by company that confirm that they work during the curfew period.
