COVID-19: Second Confirmed Case For Fiji Recorded
The 11 household contacts remain in isolation . They will be tested when they develop symptoms but remain under isolation in the Nadi hospital.

Fiji has recorded its second confirmed case of COVID-19, the mother of the first patient.
She is 47-years old and is in isolation at Nadi Hospital.
Both mother and son are in stable condition according to Ministry of Health and Medical Services Head of Health Protection, Dr Aalisha Sahukhan.

Contact tracing efforts continue of those who may have come in contact with the first victim.
So far, all those who have been contact tracing who have been identified and tested have come back negative.
Fiji has confirmed our second case of #COVID19, the mother of the first patient. She had been immediately isolated as part of our contact tracing efforts, and her symptoms did not show until after she was already within isolation.
She remains isolated and is in stable condition.
