COVID-19: Fiji Flattens Curve With 61% Recoveries, 11 Test Negative

Eleven patients have recovered from the virus in Fiji.

This was confirmed by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama today.

"I've already received the best gift this morning; news that Fiji again has zero new cases of COVID-19, and now only seven patients in the country are confirmed to be COVID-positive," he said, in a post on his Facebook page.

He has assured all patients are isolated and in stable condition.

The 107 individuals tested for COVID-19 in the last two days have had results to be negative.

There have been 11 recoveries out of the 18 positive cases so far.

Fiji has a recovery rate of 61% with only 7 cases remaining active.
