Many shoppers look forward to the Diwali specials every year.

And for Meenoo’s, people are cashing in on the retail company’s specials and their trendy fashion to choose from.

Meenoo’s Nadi store supervisor Mohini Lata said: “We are all affected by pandemic but people are buying their wears just like the previous year.

“With the price range people can afford the clothes that they need especially, our Hindu brothers and sisters, on this occasion.”

Ms Lata has worked for Meenoo’s for the past three decades.

“Response from the customers has been very good. We look forward to more with some last-minute shopping.”

Loyal shopper, Subamma Goundar, 68, of Navo found the price range attractive.

“This is a very special occasion for us, but I won’t be celebrating due to death in my family.

“Despite this, I am buying it for a distant family member. Diwali is all about sharing.”

Meenoo’s retail branches are in Suva, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Rakiraki, Tavua and Labasa.
