Cyber Foods is giving an opportunity for car owners to partner with them and deliver food to their customers.

The delivery service company is specifically targeting car owners who are unemployed.

Cyber Food founder Majid Shahzad said their sales had increased and they were looking for people willing to work with them to deliver food.

“We will train them and provide them with all the accessories. We are trying to increase our food delivery service from 8 am till 9 pm according to the opening of the restaurants. But our normal delivery service is 10 am till 9 pm,” he said.

Mr Shahzad confirmed their delivery charges would stay the same, but the chargers would be higher according to the distance travelled.

For delivery, people can contact Cyber Foods on 5050, Viber and WhatsApp on 9922066/8989989. They are also active on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Fiji Eats sales and marketing coordinator Sandeep Prasad said their delivery business have not been affected.

“The COVID-19 restrictions haven’t affected us badly because we are an alternative option for customers who are unable to go out. They always order with us and we will deliver food to them,” he said.

“There are few of our restaurant partners who have decided to shut down, but majority of them are still operating.”

Mr Prasad has no plans to increase their delivery charges and will start their delivery service from 8am to 9:30pm, the latest.

He is also urging customers to wear a face mask when receiving their orders and avoid using cash or cards.

“Customers can pay online or use their M-Paisa,” Mr Prasad said.
