The 31-year-old mother of a two-year-old recently received gold medal and is a Special Award recipient for the Highest Academic Achievement in the Postgraduate Diploma in Anaesthesia.
This award is jointly sponsored by the Australia and New Zealand societies of Anaesthesia.
Dr Sharma says: “If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.”
