Dog Thief Granted Bail
The accused told the court that he was a farmer who earned at least $100 a week. He is also supporting his parents.

An unemployed man who allegedly stole a German Shepherd dog worth $7000 in May, was granted bail by the Ba Magistrates Court yesterday.
It is alleged that on May 27, the accused, Natuilevu Kwayanaimawi dishonestly appropriated a German Shepherd dog that belonged to Avinesh Narayan with the intention of permanently depriving Mr Narayan of his property.
He is charged with one count of theft.
