Domestic violence cases are a concern for the Fiji Police Force.

Domestic violence cases are a concern for the Fiji Police Force.

Mr Tikoduadua said different ar­eas had shown different statistics, however, the general concern was that in some places, domestic vio­lence had been more prevalent.

The cases were mostly of hus­band-and-wife disputes, which could be easily avoided, he said.

“I think it is also an indication of many things. There are better ways to resolve domestic issues and communicate rather than to involve violence,” Mr Tikoduadua said.
