Dralimaki Overcomes Hardship for Tapa Business to Flourish

Strength of a woman, best defines Litiana Dralimaki who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999.

Despite hurdles encountered because of the illness she took a bold stance to pave a way forward by building her own business.

Ms Dralimaki, 62, who worked as a civil servant in the late 90s recalls moments where she had to look for alternatives to provide for her family.

During her darkest moments battling cancer, her family stood by her side.

“Those were terrifying moments for me because I thought cancer would get the best of me,” Ms Dralimaki said.

“But grace carried me through.”

She said the start was a challenge.

The pandemic gave her the opportunity to explore options at all levels and today she has excelled by having many clients from overseas and locals too.

The business entrepreneur is grateful that woman like her are given the opportunity to express themselves.
