Driver Dies Following Lami Accident
Members of the public are reminded to be careful when travelling on the road following an early morning accident on the Kings Highways along Nadonumai outside Lami and Suva City yesterday morning.

Members of the public are reminded to be careful when travelling on the road following an early morning accident on the Kings Highways along Nadonumai outside Lami and Suva City yesterday morning.
Police said two men were admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital (CWMH) after they were involved in the accident.
The two men – a 24-year-old driver and his 27-year-old passenger were rushed to the hospital after Police and National Fire Authority personnel rushed to the scene.

Police said the driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to veer onto the opposite lane and hit an oncoming truck.
The accident halted traffic in and out of Suva City.
Police said lapse in concentration while driving caused the accident.
Investigations continue.

The 24-year-old driver involved in a serious accident in Lami yesterday morning, passed away at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital.
The victim was driving a vehicle that allegedly veered onto the opposite lane resulting in the accident with a truck.
He was rushed to the CWM Hospital where he was admitted in critical condition, and passed away later in the day.
Investigations continue.
