Drug Arrests In The West

Two more people in the West are in Police custody for alleged possession of drugs.

In Nadi, a 29-year-old man was arrested after he was allegedly found with 10 sachets of dried leaves, be­lieved to be marijuana. The 10 sachets of dried leaves were found wrapped in alu­minium foil.

This came to light during a raid conducted in Namaka Lane, Nadi.

In Tavua, a 41-year-old market vendor of Matani­wai was arrested after he was allegedly found with one sachet of dried leaves, believed to be marijuana, and with more than $150 in cash.

The seized substances have been taken for analy­sis.
