Drugs, Evidence Gone Missing From Police Station, Leads To Acquittal

Incidents of drugs gone missing from the Labasa Police Station’s exhibits have resulted in lack of evidence and offenders being ac­quitted by the courts.

This was revealed by station heads and Northern Police Command Centre to the Minister for Home Af­fairs and Immigration Pio Tikodu­adua during his visit to the station on Thursday.

The Minister was surprised to hear that drugs from the exhibit rooms in the station were stolen.
