Drunk Still A Worry For Residents

Concerns have been raised against pub­lic intoxication in Martintar, Nadi, re­sulting in drunkards sleeping in public places – roadsides, shop corridors and pave­ments.

The Minister for Home Affairs and Immigra­tion Pio Tikoduadua said complaints had been received from some residents of Martintar.

The area has six nightclubs.

“A lot of concerns have been raised about the nightclubs,” Mr Tikoduadua said.
