Drunk woman assaults police officers
Direre’s father appeared as her surety.

A drunk woman who allegedly assaulted three police officers was bailed by the Labasa Magistrate Court.
Teresia Direre of Seaqaqa appeared before Magistrate Safaira Ratu on Tuesday.
She is charged with one count of drunk and disorderly and three counts of serious assault.

She was released on bail in the sum of $500.
Magistrate Ratu imposed a curfew on her from 8pm to 5am and ordered that she report to the Seaqaqa Police Station on the last Saturday of every month.
The case was adjourned to June 30 for plea.
