Drunkards Urinate At Bus Station Irates Female Vendors

Lautoka Market Vendors Association president Filomena O'Neill says intoxicated members of the public urinating near the Lautoka Market is a concern for most female vendors.

Eventually they had to request for municipal council workers to clean the allocated area where they sell their produce next day.

This was brought up during the consultation for the review of nightclub operating hours at the Lautoka City Council chambers on Monday.

Ms O'Neill raised the issue because the bus stand was directly attached to the market area where most intoxicated members of the public were found sleeping in the morning.
