Duo Who Allegedly Stole Goats, Face Charges

Two men who allegedly stole five goats, willingly pleaded guilty before the Labasa Magistrate Seini Puamau yesterday.

Apolosi Tuilau and Roneel Chand charged with two counts of theft each were represented by their lawyer Ami Kohli at Labasa Magistrates Court.

It is alleged that on January 8, 2018 the duo stole three goats worth $900 belonging to Jitendra Prasad at Bagata.

On January 20, 2019 they again allegedly stole two goats from Mr Prasad worth $700.

The case has been adjourned for summary of facts to May 22.
