No one denies the fact that Peceli Yato would play an important role in the FIJI Water Flying Fijians campaign at the Rugby World Cup in France, which gets underway on September 19.
Yato, a senior member of the national squad, starred for his French club Clermont in the Top 14 competition after coming back from a long term injury.
He continued on that momentum right to the Flying Fijians week-long camp in Welagi, Taveuni.

However, things seemed not to go right when the national squad shifted back to Nadi to continue on its preparations.
That’s norm when it comes to sorting out the nitty gritty of things preparing for the RWC.
After the Flying Fijians 36-20 win over Tonga in Lautoka, head coach Simon Raiwalui revealed that Yato has made his decision to leave the squad and was not in the running for a RWC spot.
