Educators Show Appreciation To Nadi Hospital Workers

Representatives from Fiji/Pacific Educators presented a bit of a morale boost for the frontliner workers of the Nadi Hospital yesterday.
Recognising the frontliners’ work and sacrifices, the Fiji/Pacific Educators presented them with a baskets of food items, including Weet-Bix, biscuits, tea items, etc, as well as cutlery at the Blue Light Village Hotel in Nadi
Nadi Hospital chief medical officer Dr Pablo Romakin thanked the Fiji/Pacific Educators, on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Medical Services staff based at the Nadi Hospital.

“It is a different feeling when people appreciate the work you do,” he said.

University of Fiji lecturer Sunil Kumar said educators from the Fiji National University and University of Fiji wanted to say thank you to all frontline workers for the hard work they do.
“We know this are hard times for all of us. COVID-19 has brought with it a lot of hardships. It also brought out a great human dimension from people as well,” Mr Kumar said. “Despite the difficulties you put up with, humanity will prevail.”
The basket of food items and cutlery are expected to be used in their tea rooms and would be replenished every two weeks. Edited by Jonathan Bryce
