Emmanuel Emerges An Academic Star

Emmanuel Masih, 18, ended his high school journey with remarkable success and sets his sights on a career in the medical field.

Awarded the prestigious dux accolade for Vashiti Muni College, Emmanuel expressed gratitude for the honour, underscoring the significance of the achievement given the challenges he faced growing up.

“I dedicate the goals I have achieved this year to my parents for their unwavering love and support of my dreams and ambitions,” Emmanuel said.

Despite not expecting to receive the dux award, he credited his success to faith.

Emmanuel secured the highest total mark in the Year 13 annual examination, scoring an impressive 371 out of 400.

This outstanding performance earned him 18 certificates and 19 trophies, highlighting his excellence in various subjects:

- Distinction in pure mathematics, English, biology, chemistry, and physics;

-  Overall highest scorer in pure mathematics, biology, chemistry, and physics;

- Best science student of the year;

- Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination highest scorer;

- Meritorious student of the year;

- Senior Dux 2023;

- Senior Dux award;

- Distinction in pure mathematics, English, biology, chemistry, and physics.
