Esala Nayasi Becomes Acting PS Foreign Affairs

Esala Nayasi is now the Acting Permanent Secre­tary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This was confirmed by Acting Permanent Secretary for the Prime Minister’s Office Peter Wise on Monday who previously held the portfolio.

Mr Nayasi is a lawyer by profes­sion.

He graduated with a law degree and undertook postgrad­uate studies at the University of the South Pacific. He was admit­ted to the Fiji Courts in 2005.

He completed a number of UN fellowships on international law, including the Summer Pro­gramme at The Hague Academy of International Law.
