More than 900 students from Holy Trinity Anglican Primary School participated in a march on Friday to commemorate and raise awareness on International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT).

More than 900 students from Holy Trinity Anglican Primary School participated in a march on Friday to commemorate and raise awareness on International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT).
Head teacher Johnson Rura said it had been some time since the school engaged in an awareness programme of this nature.
With the rising statistics of school students involved in drug usage, Mr Rura said everything should obviously start from home.

“If parents properly engage with children at home then the school is the second place where they learn,” he said.
