Fijians can expect more rain in coming days with possible flash-flooding.
The Fiji Meteorological Service yesterday said a heavy rain alert remains in force for the Northern Division, Yasawa and Mamanuca Groups.
The alert also extents to the westerns and northern parts of Viti Levu in Momi to Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki.

“A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain affects the western and northern parts of Fiji. It is expected to gradually spread over the rest of the country by tomorrow,” the weather office said.
“Meanwhile, a North to easterly wind flow prevails over the country.
The Fiji Meteorological Service forecasts occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms for Northern Division, Yasawa and Mamanuca Groups, Viti Levu and nearby smaller islands.
There are also forecast of isolated thunderstorms with likely heavy falls with possible impacts of isolated flash flooding of low-lying areas, wet road and reduced visibility.
