Facebook Friends Turn To Lifelong Partners

An accidental meet through Facebook friend request turned into a lifelong relationship for Beverley Balisha and her husband Akaash Chand.

Mrs Balisha is a working as a registered nurse at Levuka Sub-divisional hospital while her husband works as a biosecurity of­ficer at Levuka wharf.

“It was accidental meet over fb. He sent me a friend request while he was working as a vet assistant at animals Fiji in Nadi in 2015,” said Mrs Balisha.

“He was wearing a nurse scrub so I thought he must be a nurse as well and accepted his request.
