Faith Based Organisation Plays Crucial Role In Education: Jokhan

There is a need to strengthen partnership in overcoming education challenges without the loss of identity and purpose.

Permanent Secretary for Education, Heritage and Arts Dr Anjeela Jokhan made those remakes during the Arya Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji Education Committee dialogue at the Pt. Vishnu Deo Memorial Hall, Saweni, in Lautoka on Saturday.

Dr Jokhan said that faith based organisations such as APS was a crucial partner in the education of students in the country.

“It is extremely important and timely for refocusing, re-emphasing the importance of identity and purpose in our own cultures and faiths.”
