A Suva family has been brought to their knees through cyberbullying on the social media platform, TikTok.
It started when Dhir Singh posted a comment on a video by a former Fijian resident in Australia.
The person on the video was belittling the Government and Mr Singh asked the woman to refrain from doing that.

This is when things took an ugly turn.
The woman started to launch personal attacks, which were vulgar.
“My daughter closed her cake business because of this woman. She accused my daughter of dealing drugs and then told everyone that she was in the sex trade,” Mr Singh said.
“She continues with her lies on TikTok. We know she has help from here, but why launch personal attacks?
“My family has been affected. This is bullying and I can tell you that it is hurting us.”
The family has made a Police complaint and reported the videos, but the cyberbullying has not stopped.
The family is considering taking legal action for defamation.
