Family Lose Home To Blaze

A house which had been to the Kumar family for 15 years was destroyed over the weekend.
The four-bedroom home with a flat at the back, which once stood at Vellaidan Road, Sonaisali Road in Nadi, housed a family of three.
Jai Kumar, 65, a retired heavy machinery operator said he worked hard to build the home.

He was not present at home when the incident happened. He claimed the cost of damage was about $100,000.
