The family of Lemeki Duidomo, who was allegedly murdered outside a motel in Suva last month, wants justice for their son.

Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro, said investigations were ongoing.

Mr Duidomo’s sister, Jasiliva Rokobote, said their family were not at peace because no one has been apprehended for the death of her brother.

Ms Rokobote claimed they have been running around contacting the Police, but they continue to be told that it was being investigated.

“It is sad to always see my parents shed tears when they think of my brother and know that nothing has been done to bring my brother’s killers to justice,” Ms Rokobote said.

““We want to see progress. Our family has a lot of unanswered questions. My brother’s life was cut short by someone who doesn’t know what Lemeki means to us.

“All we have are memories of Lemeki when he was alive. We miss him but knowing that his murderer is still out there saddens us.”

Ms Rokobote hopes those responsible for her brother’s death are caught and punished.

“Family living in the village have some information on those who murdered my brother and are willing to take it into their own hands, especially when the investigation is taking too long.

“My mother is sickly and it was my brother who always looked after her.
