Fareed's Court Case Adjourned to December 5

The matter is expected to be heard on the next date set.

The judgement of former chief executive officer of Fiji Holdings Limited, Mohammed Fareed has been adjourned to December 5.

Fareed, who has three counts of indecent assault against him, appeared for this matter on Wednesday but was adjourned as Chief Magistrate Josaia Waqaivolavola, who is presiding over the matter was not sitting.

The allegations against Fareed are such that in the first two counts of indecent assault, Fareed was alleged to have indecently assaulted the first female complainant on two different occasions, sometimes between June and September 2019.

The third count of indecent assault is in relation to the second complainant who alleged that Fareed committed the offence in May 2019.

The matter is expected to be heard on the next date set.

In the meantime, Fareed remains on bail.
