Nemani Vaturogo believes his sacrifices for his children have not gone to waste as he is now reaping the benefits.
He raised his family with copra money he earned from his village of Yavu on Batiki island, and sheltered them in an open house with no rooms.
“It was hard, but I always made sure that I remained faithful. Everything I was doing was for my family,” he said.
