The Fijian Broadcasting Corporation (FBC) has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with the Leaders LEAD Symposium, presented by Salt Inc. Fiji, to promote leadership development across Fiji and the Pacific.
The agreement, signed yesterday, formalises FBC as the official media partner for the annual leadership event, providing promotion, event coverage, speaker interviews, special features and ongoing content aimed at expanding access to leadership discussions nationwide.
Leaders LEAD Symposium is Fiji’s annual leadership forum focused on people-centred and values-based leadership.

Its 2026 edition will be held from February 23 to 25 at the Sofitel Fiji Resort in Denarau, Nadi, and will feature international speakers alongside local leaders sharing practical leadership tools for Pacific-based leaders.
The three-day programme is designed to help participants develop self-awareness, personal growth and clarity of purpose, with an emphasis on leading oneself before leading others.
FBC Acting chief executive Sitiveni Halofaki said the partnership aligned with the broadcaster’s role as a national institution.
“FBC is proud to partner with the Leaders LEAD Symposium to bring transformative leadership insights to every corner of Fiji,” he said.
“As a national broadcaster, we are committed to content that educates, inspires and unites our people. This partnership allows the symposium’s impact to extend far beyond the event itself.”
The symposium is delivered by four local leadership practitioners operating under the Salt Inc. umbrella.
Speaking on behalf of the partners, Moses O’Connor said the partnership was about making leadership conversations accessible to all.
“Leadership development should not be confined to conference rooms or limited to those who can attend in person,” he said.
“Working with FBC ensures these conversations are visible, shared and accessible to the wider public.”
Organisers said the partnership positioned both organisations as contributors to nation-building through leadership development.
Registrations for the 2026 Leaders LEAD Symposium are now open.
