The Fijian Elections Office is looking into a report lodged against former Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama, former Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed- Khaiyum and President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere.

The report alleged that Mr Bainimarama failed to declare his Fiji National Provident Fund contributions and value for the years 2014, 2015, 2016 and other years in his years of employment.

It also alleged that the former FijiFirst party general secretary, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, did not declare his FNPF contributions and value for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018.

The complainant, Alexandra Forwood, of Sydney in Australia, emailed a copy of her complaint to media outlets yesterday.

She alleged that Mr Bainimarama had not declared the amount of shares in his Unit Trust accounts and the income derived from that.

In her complaint, she also alleged that Mr Bainimarama, Mr Sayed- Khaiyum and Ratu Williame did not declare their overseas travel allowances.

While acknowledging the report, Acting Supervisor of Elections, Ana Mataiciwa, said the normal process for internal verification of all the allegations would be done to determine whether or not to escalate the matter further.
