Miss Earth Fiji Ashlin Alveena Prasad achieves Top 10 placement in Miss People’s Choice marking Fiji’s historic comeback to Miss Earth.

This ensured Fiji a triumphant return to the global beauty pageant scene, capturing international attention at the pageant.

After an absence from 2019 to 2022, Ms Prasad, an inspiring 18-year-old has broken new ground for the nation, making history with her outstanding performance.

Her remarkable journey has propelled her into the Top 10 for Miss Earth’s ‘Miss People’s Choice’ award, marking the first time Fiji has reached this level in the global rankings.

“Thank you so much for your heartfelt words and unwavering support,” the former Swami Vivekananda College student said.

“It means the world to me to have you by my side on this journey. I’m truly honoured to represent Fiji and will carry your encouragement with me every step of the way.

“I promise to give my all with integrity, dignity, and strength. I am grateful for your guidance and prayers. Let’s make Fiji proud together.”

Competing against candidates from around the world, her dedication and passion have brought Fiji into the spotlight, showcasing the resilience and spirit of our people on one of the world’s most prestigious platforms.

With her placement in the Top 10, she has set a record for Fiji.

“This achievement reflects her commitment to representing her country with pride and purpose on the world stage,” a statement from her team said.

This isn’t her first time showcasing Fijian pride in an international arena. Early this year she represented Fiji in the Queen of International Tourism in the Philippines and now, once again, she stands on an international stage in Manila.

Her journey is a testament to her dedication, as she brings recognition and honour to Fiji through her passion for environmental advocacy, especially in soil regeneration, her chosen cause.

As Miss Earth Fiji 2024, she has not only elevated Fiji’s presence in international pageant , but has inspired a new generation, proving that Fiji’s voice can make waves in the international sphere.

“With voting still open, the nation’s support for her continues to be essential, as every vote brings Fiji closer to breaking new records and reaching the Top 5,” the statement said.
