Fiji Minister for Forests Launches 4 Million Trees In 4 Years Initiative
The Four Million Trees initiative includes plans to plant all types of trees from timber trees to fruit trees and ornamental trees.

The Minister for Forests Osea Naiqamu launched the ‘Plant 4 Million Trees in Four Years’ initiative at Silana Village in Dawasamu on Saturday.
“Through this partnership, the future generations of Silana will live in a healthy and environmentally safe Fiji,” Mr Naiqamu said.

It is also part of Government’s commitment to grow the Fijian economy through the forestry sector in partnership with Fiji Development Bank and the iTaukei Affairs Board.
