Fiji Ramakrishna Mission Boost Tavua Sub-divisional Hospital

The continuous medical support from Fiji Ramakrishna Mission (FRM) has now reached the medical team at the Tavua Sub-divisional Hospital.
On Monday, the FRM donated eight Electric Hospital Beds with mattresses, one Examination Bed, one ECG Machine, one Vitals Monitor, three Drip Stands, 16 Bed-Sheets, 16 Pillow Covers and 10 cartons (with a total of 10,800) KN-95 facemasks.
The Hospital Medical Officer, Dr Vishneel Gounder, acknowledged the FRM for their kind donation to the medical team and to the people of Tavua.

“We are so grateful and thanks FRM for their kind gestures in donating these medical items. I am sure this will be a great benefit to the people of Tavua,” he said.
FRM President Swami Bhadreshananda said they would continue to extend their services by distributing medical equipment to those who were medically and economically affected with the present situation.
“The present COVID-19 pandemic is the worst natural disaster of this century,” he said.
“During this hour of need, we could extend our services by distributing medical equipment to those who are medically and economically affected with the present situation.
“We are happy to serve the people of Tavua and also the people of Fiji for a better tomorrow.”
Mr Bhadreshananda thanked the consortium of sponsors for making the donation possible and for organising the logistics of the medical items.
