The Fiji Roads Authority is in the process of transitioning local road markings to Australian Standards.
This was revealed in a statement.
“Line markings are a system of clear and effective guidance and control of vehicles and pedestrians, and the system supplements the function of road and traffic signs,” FRA said.

“As important as line markings are, they are also subject to traffic wear and require frequent maintenance, so if you see our teams carrying out line marking works, please slow down and drive within the proper directed lanes.”
