With the recent heavy rain in Suva, potholes have once again emerged along the Suva-Nausori corridor.
Fiji Roads Authority chief executive officer, Jonathan Moore said sealing will not be done during the wet period as the potholes will not stay closed.
“Whenever we can, we will carry rehabilitation to prevent potholes in the future. In the meantime, we are sealing in the dry period,” he said.

Mr Moore said they will be clearing the waters and the potholes for the time being.
FRA is working closely around the clock to ensure that concerns raised by the public are taken into consideration remedial work is currently underway.
“We have a major project that covers all sealing works including pothole repairs,” he said.
