Fiji Sevashram to host free student camp this week

Fiji Sevashram Sangha is inviting students to its annual student camp in Suva from January 4 - 11.

The Fiji Sevashram Sangha will host its annual student camp at the Suva Ashram from January 4- 11.

The camp is open to all students with activities from 7.30am to 6.00pm.

Activities include spiritual discourse, music and bhajan singing, light physical exercise, yoga, Latthi (stick) training, meditation, and special counselling sessions with academics and community leaders.

A Hindi Language workshop, hosted by the High Commission of India, will take place on Wednesday, January 7.

Morning and afternoon refreshments, as well as lunch, will be provided.

Participants will also present what they have learned during the week and will each receive a Certificate of Participation on the final day,

Fiji Sevashram Sangha has been organising the student camp since 2000 to give students a platform to interact with peers from other schools.

The religious organisation encourages students participating in the student camp, to use their holidays productively by sharing talents, skills, and art.

Parents are encouraged to register their children at the Suva Ashram at 6 Bau Street or by calling 3317625, 9431534, or 7320811.

There is no registration or entry fee for the camp.
