Fijian University Student Dies In China

A Fijian student, who had spent more than 5 years in China, died on Friday after a brief illness.

The Fiji embassy in China confirmed that it was now working together with the University that she was studying at, to help bring her body home.

It is understood that student was studying at Anhui Agriculture University pursuing her degree in veterinary .

The student was due to graduate next month. One of her best friends, who chose to remain anonymous, said she had already applied to continue with her Masters in China after her graduation.
