While enroute back to Fiji from Panama via the United States, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka met FIJI Water owners Stewart Resnick and his wife Lynda.

It was a unique opportunity to hear first-hand from Mr Resnick on his Wonderful Company’s global operations including some of FIJI Water’s future expansion plans, agriculture, marketing and philanthropy.

The US$6 billion (about FJ$13.4b) Wonderful Company is the parent company for FIJI Water and other subsidiaries such as Wonderful Pistachios, Wonderful Halos, Wonderful Seedless Lemons, POM Wonderful, JUSTIN, Landmark, and JNSQ wines.

Mr Rabuka also met senior executives of FIJI Water in Los Angeles and was later welcomed to a dinner by the Resnicks.

Mr Rabuka later visited NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory followed by a tour of the Resnick Sustainability Institute at Caltech in LA. He returns to Fiji this week.
