Fijian Chaplain Opens Memorial Day in Sinai

The Chaplain of the Fiji Contingent serving with the Multinational Force and Observers in Sinai was hon­oured to open the ANZAC Day morning service with a prayer recently.

Captain Soita Uluiviti stated that he was honoured to open the morning service with a prayer and the benediction for the occa­sion, which was attended by the multinational members of MFO.

The Fijian contingent that at­tended the occasion was led by the 2nd in Command of the Sec­ond Battalion Fiji Infantry Regi­ment, Lieutenant Commander (Navy) Samuela Cikaitoga and Regiment Sergeant Major, War­rant Officer Class One Sireli Qi­olele.

They joined their MFO coun­terparts in celebrating ANZAC day during a dawn service held at the Herbs Beach in South Camp. Bandsman Sovea Koro­vou Kolinisau and Lance Cor­poral Rusiate Keleidaveta were both part of the ANZAC Day Catafalque party as the Bugler playing the last post and drum beat respectively.
