A Victorian man believed to be of Fijian descent has allegedly sustained multiple injuries in a police cell in Australia.
James Martin, 31, suffers from a collapsed lung and broken ribs from a display of force on him by the Police in a holding cell in Shepparton.
Martin was placed into custody over a bail breach on May 28 and was locked in an isolation cell at the Shepparton Police Station.
Related stories
His lawyer Ian Michaelson believes the incident could be described as police brutality.
