Fire was at storeroom, says manager

The fire took place at a storeroom at the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa August 17, 2024.
The fire at Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa on Saturday was at the ‘back of house storeroom’ as the National Fire Authority investigates the incident.
Carey Osborne, the resort cluster general manager confirmed that the incident was quickly contained and extinguished with no injuries reported.
“No guest rooms were affected,” she said.

Divisional Police Commander West Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Iakobo Vaisewa also confirmed nil reports of casualties and await investigation outcome.
