Flash flood alert in place for parts of Fiji
A flash flood alert remains in place for Navua, Suva, Nausori, Tailevu North, Ovalau, Kadavu and southern Vanua Levu.

A flash flood alert remains in force for parts of the Southern and Central-Eastern divisions, including Navua, Suva, Nausori, Tailevu North, Ovalau, Kadavu and southern Vanua Levu.
The Fiji Meteorological Service says a trough of low pressure with widespread cloud and rain is lying over the southern and eastern parts of the country. The system is expected to spread and affect the rest of Fiji from tomorrow.
Authorities warn that isolated heavy rain may lead to flash flooding.

A heavy rain alert also remains in force for the entire Fiji group.
