Flood warning in place for Fiji: Fiji Met

A stern warning has been issued for those living in flood prone areas to move to higher grounds as continuous heavy rainfall in the Western Division could lead to flooding.
Yesterday, the Fiji Metrological Service reported an increase in water level at places such as Ba, Nasivi River in Tavua, Nakauvadra, Rakiraki and those living around Vanua Levu.
The active trough of low pressure affecting the Fiji Group, is accompanied by strong winds.
