Florist Expands Customer Reach At Fiji Showcase

Carnivals, festivals and public events have become a great platform for small businesses that are slowly entering the business community.
A great example is Pravina’s Secret Garden, a small flower business based off Koronivia.
What started off as a small backyard business, has flourished into a growing flower business that has expanded its services to include plant nursery, flower arrangements, landscaping.

Director Praveena Rae said the Fiji Showcase has been a good platform for her business.
“I had joined the Suva Orchid and Horticultural Circle 14 years ago and from that time, I had always planned on opening my business at home,”

Ms Rae now has big plans for her flower business.

She has managed to make a bigger nursery in Koronivia where she hopes to do a lot more to sell and help buyers beautify their surroundings.
Located on the agriculture section of the Fiji Showcase, Praveena’s Secret Garden is the first stall to spot by the entrance of the Vodafone Arena.
