“We’re all aware of the Look North Policy, so we’ve been looking to a number of sites in the West already,” Mr Vodonaivalu said.

The Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) intends to shift its investment interest to Vanua Levu within the next two to three years.

Its chief executive officer Viliame Vodonaivalu highlighted this during the FNPF annual member forum at the Labasa Civic Centre yesterday.

Mr Vodonaivalu said lucrative development projects were on their do list as more development projects were starting to thrive in the North.

“We’re all aware of the Look North Policy, so we’ve been looking to a number of sites in the West already,” Mr Vodonaivalu said.

Targeted investment project development for the North would be a big win, especially with the opening of the Damodar Labasa Complex last year.
